Flex Room
Definition
- A room within a home that can change usage to meet or suit any need. For instance, it may be developed into a workout room, sewing room, movie room or simply an extra bedroom. Many home builders include flex rooms within their designs allowing home buyers to customize this portion of the home.
- In community centres, many rooms within the building are designed to be flex rooms and may, from time to time, change usage to meet community requirements.
